HTTPS and MvCALL

Hi,

Does anyone have a novel workaround for the HTTPS limitation
on the
MvCALL function (Namely that it cannot connect to a secure
server) that
they would not mind sharing?

I'm trying to set up an XML scrape in MIVA but the only
allowed
communication with the server is via a secured connection
with
absolutely no alternative provided (It's connecting to a
bank).

Thank you in advance to anyone who can point me in the
direction of
something clever or something third party that will assist
MIVA.

I am not aware of any HTTPS limitation at MvCALL, at least
not since about 5
years ago, when the v4.9x was released (or was SSL support
added already in
4.7x?)
