Webboard: Unix version reading Windows file data

Hi,

I'd like to use a windows machine to index sites, and then
run the search on a Unix machine.  

I planned to use MySQL storage, since I could just transfer
the database from one machine to another.  But
unfortunately, I'm having problems getting the MySQL
connection working (posted in an earlier thread here).

So in the meantime, I'm wondering if it's possible to use
the file-based db generated on Windows with the Unix search
component.

Does anyone here have any ideas on this?
