Problem with categories

Hallo all,

I'm trying to use categories in my Mnogosearch DB (23 Gb),
but they 
don't work.
When I perform a query with cat parameter setted I wait a
long time 
(some minutes), but nothing happens: the browser seems to
load a page, 
finally it loads an empty page.
Can you help me to debug the problem?
