Hello everybody,

I've just been asked a question whether it would be
possible to create a
TCP/IP{ (native .NET binary protocol) connection between an
unmanaged server
written in C++ and a managed client. Both would be running
on *nix systems, so
my question is - is/are there any library/ies that make it
possible? I know
about ZeroC/ICE but I couldn't use that in this instance
since its commercial
use requires purchasing a license and the client of mine who
asked the question
is not willing to pay it :(

tia,

marek

I've mistakenly posted it to the Monodevelop list, please
accept my apologies
and ignore the message. I've just re-posted to the correct
mono-develop one,

thanks,

marek
