The addin is part of MD itself:
http://svn.myrealbox.com/viewcvs/trunk/monodevel
op/Extras/NUnit/
The MD configure script
http://svn.myrealbox.com/viewcvs/trun
k/monodevelop/configure.in?view=markup
uses pkg-config to check for both NUnit >= 2.2.0 and
Mono-NUnit >=
1.1.8. The user is expected to get these from elsewhere.

I'm sure people would appreciate it. Even if Lluis wishes
to keep
compatibility with NUnit 2.2, you could always add 2.4 stuff
with
conditionals.

OK. I'll experiment with this using different versions and
see what works.

Does that seem like

An initial step might be to upgrade to 2.2.8 in order to get
NUnit's own
built-in compatibility with prior versions. NUnit 2.4 has
changes in the
TestRunner interface - which I hope you are using, since
lower-level stuff
has even more changes. :-(

I'll keep listening here and post something more after
I've done some
experiments.
