Maybe you can create some kind of plugin or addon that can
manage this
kind of user specific modifications.. something like firefox
extensions
or something... this could be usefull tu provide other kind
of tools
that users think that can help or be nice to other users..
maybe some
kind of scripting extensión could be nice..

Sorry if I don't know very much about MD programing
structure.. but is
an idea for all of you...

Regards,

Carlos

MD is already entirely based upon an extension-based
structure, but
unsurprisingly there is no extension point to let users
inject random
messages into the loading screen.

I'd be against putting this code into the MD core (for one
thing, who
gets to choose which messages are in the list?), but I guess
a
compromise could be to add an extension point that would
make this
possible, preferably with a useful purpose too. The 'funny'
AddIn
could then be distributed in an online AddIn repository.

Hi,

A radical issue on having such an "extension" (at
least for rtyler)
would be that when it comes to an explicit Add-In, it is not
easter egg anymore ...

I have no specific opinion, but I wonder if those easter egg
messages
are to be translated to other languages (of course we don't
have
to make direct translation and lose any sense).
