HI:

I have been using MD for like a year in school and work
proyects and
it's a really good development tool but the lack of any
user
configurable keybindings really hinders in my opinion the
productivity
that you can get with other IDEs. That why I will send a
propose to
implement a plugin to set a system of configurable
keybindings for the
main modules of MD and a service to other plugins. Any other
person
that has been working in this Idea? or this TODO isn't
supported for
inclusion in SoC?ector

I think this would be useful. As long as a project looks
like a decent
amount of coding work, and someone isn't already working on
it, pretty
much anything is fair game for SoC. Some people have in the
past
proposed combinations of several small-medium tasks rather
than one
big one.

IMHO an important feature for this would be to have
comfigurable
"keybinding profiles" with the settings from other
popular IDEs.
VS2005-style "chords" might be nice as well,
though I don't know if
those are patented.

Yeah the original TODO has the idea of keybindings profiles
with the
set of
keybindings of other popular IDE (eclipse, VS, etc) I didn't
thought
about any
patent uses of implementing that feature but I did plan to
get user
defined
keybinding profiles, and a keybinding to rotate between
them.

You'd have my vote if I had one. There was some guy working
on this a
while back but he never contributed any code.
