MD from SVN you will not overwrite the makefiles. When
generating the
tarball, the makefile files are now generated in a temp
directory, so it
won't add any file to the project directory. You can also
tell MD to use
your own set of makefiles when creating the tarball, so you
can use the
"Generate Autotools files" option to generate the
makefiles, change
them, and then create the tarball from inside the IDE.
