Thread: Can not start MonoDevelop

Can not start MonoDevelop

Hello everybody,

since today I can not start MonoDevelop anymore, I installed
it from the
Yast sources, reinstalled it twice, reinstalled Glib-sharp2,
and a
couple of other dependencies but it just won't work.

Does someone have any clue how to get it working again?
(Note: svn
version is running with make run)

Kind Regards and thanks in advance,
Valentin Sawadski

Console output:

Valentin,
Try to run ldconfig as root. This may help.

Not really Valentin. But every time that a package is
installed, supposedly
all dynamic libraries should be added to the PATH, however
for some reason
this not always happend. So when you install a package and
did not work, try
this command ldconfig as root, and there is a good chance
the problem get
fixed.
