Re: Monodevelop-list Digest, Vol 33, Issue 14

I borked by Ubuntu Linux OS.  Now that I've got it fixed,
everything
works except MonoDevelop.  I never got v.18 to install but
did have v.17
working just fine.  But, now neither will run after
re-installation.

The .deb files I'm using are:
	monodevelop_0.17-1_all.deb
	monodevelop_0.18.1-2.1_all.deb

Is there a tip you can give me?  

How about the best way to do a clean removal to prepare for
a new
install?

Are there other dependencies that I need to preinstall?

0.18 added a dependency on mono-addin-0.3

Best way to do a clean removal in to remove the debs
properly 

Failing that, remove /usr/lib/monodevelop and
~/.config/MonoDevelop/addin*

The errors that prevent it from running usually help in
diagnosing
these problems... start MD from a terminal if necessary to
get error
output.
