Hy all

I want to know how to ut controls in a MonoDevelop form. I
can see the form
but putting controls is another story. How far has
Monodevelop gone with
VB.Net? Can you make a full application using databases and
textboxes using
Vb.Net? If you can, could you send me a tutorial on how to
create a VB.Net
application as well as a C# application?

Your response will be appreciated!!!

Yours Sincerely
Xola Mtsini(Mr.)

VB.NET support is very old, and is going to be reworked. The
VB.NET
compiler is being also being reengineered, so even though it
is
possible to use current VB.NET support in MD, it may not be
able to
compile a not so simple application.

Also currently the stetic gtk# ui-designer has still some
rough edges
when dealing with languages other than C#, but you can use
Glade for
designing UI for GTK# apps for mostly any language MD
supports.

C# (in the core), Boo, Nemerle and Java (with their plugins)
are the
best supported languages in MD, currently.

As I'm currently working a lot with Java and even fixing
Java VMs
(JamVM/Kaffe) and GNU Classpath code, I think I may partly
borrow the
title (Javaman) from my friend Bruno Souza and become the
MonoNJavaMan. Yeah, I may currently be crazier than usual...
