Hi,
I'm not quite new to ruby and am more interested in desktop
based 
applications than I am with web based ones.

I will soon start working on a ruby implementation of the
java SWT for pure 
fun. I have failed in finding a ruby port of it and since I
have no 
knowledge of tcl/tk or gtk or curses, and since I am quite
familiar now with 
SWT, this will prove to be quite interesting I'm sure.
