help panel from eclipse.

Maybe I understood your question incorrect but the link you
send us is about a ActionScript Class Browser for Eclipse.

As far as I know there is now way of reading the help files
that come with the Flash IDE because the help is encrypted.
Please correct me if I'm wrong. I always just use the
Macromedia livedocs for help.

Hi there,

I'm trying to find the better way to open the flash help
panel from eclipse.

I found this but the link is unfortunately broken:
sh.org/as2_class_browser>
http://osflash.o
rg/as2_class_browser

Does somebody have a suggestion on this point?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards.

Hello,

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough.
Yes you understood correctly, I meant browse inside eclipse
the MM class
documentation which is found under the help panel of Flash
IDE .

As far as I remember this was possible with SEPY, so a way
could exist for
eclipse?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards.

TextMate has a command in the ActionScript Bundlethat does
exactly
what you want to do.

It should be easy to port it over to Eclipse (it's not
really that
hard, I ported it from Perl to Ruby in about 15 minutes

The source is here. Feel free to ask about the peculiarities
of it
(there is some TextMate-specific code there...)

Ruby Version:
com/svn/Bundles/trunk/Bundles/ActionScript.tmbundle/Support/
Tools/asd.rb>

Perl Version (convoluted and ugly :
com/svn/Bundles/trunk/Bundles/ActionScript.tmbundle/Support/
Tools/asd.pl>

Hope it helps... if you improve it, it would be great to get
the
changes to include them in the bundle.
