    For any
mathematicians/physicists/cosmologists/philosophers out there, or anyone else
that has an interest in these fields, Sir Roger Penrose is one of the greatest
minds out there (IMHO) and has made huge contributions to many fields, including
computer science. My familiarity with Penrose comes from his work in
consciousness and the philosophy of mind (Shadows of the Mind, The Emperors New
Mind etc).
