Hi,
Please advise me on the preferences settings for this
software. I am a new user

In the Network section:
In server name or Ip address, put the ip address of FQDN of your asterisk servers
In username and password, put the entries you created in /etc/asterisk/iax.conf
thats it ... the rest is optional, just make sure the your codec selection covers the codecs allowed in iax.conf
it really doesn't get any simpler that this, once you are registered the IP/FQDN will go green in the main window
and on asterisk console will say registered
