In fact I'd say it's light years ahead of Internet
Explorer. It never
gives me any trouble and always works perfectly. The only
time it will
ever give any kind of trouble is when I use unsigned
extensions. But
that remote at best.
M/F shows that Microsoft doesn't know what they are doing.
But, of
course, Microsoft is all about the greenbacks. But I can see
why
Microsoft is running scared of Mozilla/Firefox. It's
because of M/F
that Microsoft started wok on IE 7.
If anybody is thinking about switching over to M/F from IE,
do it. It's
well worth it! Much faster browsing also...for those of you
who use
DUN.

Yes, Mozilla Firefox is worth a tribute of some sort (why not donate to the Mozilla group? They're well worth it)
Not only is Mozilla Firefox better for its users - any web developer loves Firefox for the compliancy level, in CSS as well as (X)HTML.
Mozilla Firefox is cross-platform too, which for me is VERY valuable, I want a browser that I can use if I decide to run my Gentoo or my Windows - and still recognize the UI and be able to have as high expectations.
In JavaScript there's nothing like Firefox. In Firefox you have an error console that can tell you what went wrong, on what line, and sometimes why.
Those are just a few of the many reasons why Firefox IS a better browser.

Now that's outrageous! Something as good as Firefox and it
exists by
donations! Don't tell Microsoft. It might embarrass them.
Actually it exists most likely because the people
responsible for it
love what they do and are skilled. The donation part is
exactly what
you say: a worthwhile action on the part of those that use
the fruit of
their labor.

I think Firefox works, just as other Open Source projects
are starting
to work, because there is a desire and will to support them.
Not just
on the common user level, but up on-high in major companies,
sick of
having to put all their eggs in one basket with Microsoft.
Open Source
has caught Microsoft off-guard because they were expecting a
classic
threat to emerge, a stock-issuing company. Instead, a more
general
rebellion is underway. Companies do business with
Microsoft, and fund
support and development of Open Source projects to replace
them.
There are a lot of reasons why cooperate America won't dump
Microsoft
for OS/X. But there are a lot fewer that prevent them from
dropping
Microsoft for Linux and viable Open Source projects.

It's great, I use Firefox and Portable Firefox and I love
them both. I
would never use anything but FF. I've been spreading it for
almost a
year now on spreadfirefox.com. Many people have never heard
of the
browser before so just by telling them the name, they can
easily search
for it and learn more about what they're missing out on.

I have the Portable Firefox also. Coolest thing I come
across for web
surfing on the go.
I usually load the portable Firefox onto the desktop of the
PC I'm
surfing on so that it'll function more swiftly by using the
faster
internal hard drive. When I'm through using the particular
PC, I simply
delete the portable Firefox by dragging it to the Trash bin.
If you have any info about the fastest USB flash drive you
might have
come across, post it so that we can be better off. Thanks

Also, just to note, I replaced the 1.06 Portable Firefox
with 1.5
version. I did this by overwriting the Firefox.exe in the
Portable
Firefox file.

Not Firefox related, and post that in your own topic please.
Additionally, don't address one person specifically, it's
a bad idea
(if you want to talk to the user and only him/her, send a
mail to
him/her - not the whole list on someone else's topic)
