Actually, you can increase saturation for just the reds only in PS.
In the Hue/Saturation dialog box, there's an Edit box in which you
can select whether to affect everything - Master - or each of the
colours (RGB and CMY) individually. May not have exactly the same
effect as a glass filter on the lens, though.
