I did a lot of amcro work with D100. I really got a surprize whwm my 

Sigma EM-140 DG Macro Flash does not work with my new D200. Does 

anyone know what the camera will not even take a picture when it is 

mounted?

My SB-24 flash works fine with my trusty F4, but it doesn't work with the

D200

if it's in TTL Auto mode. The strobe will work with the D200 in Manual mode.

Perhaps your Sigma is the same way. If it has a manual mode, see if that

works.
