Funny you should ask Bruno!  This evening while 
gettting an estamate for my insurance company to replace all of my camera 
equipment that went swimming, when I asked how much the D200 was... he said 
Discontinued... I asked what was the replacement... he said... they have not 
told us!  So something is comeing, but what... I am not sure!

Hi,
considering the D200 has been released a few years ago, I was 
  wondering 
if anyone had a clue about the product release cycle for ths 
  line and 
what is coming next... a D200x ? A D300 ? when ? and what new or 
  
enhanced features would be driving the release..
