Hmm, I'm surprised you say it doesn't fit:
This combination (even with an attached L-Bracket) perfectly fits into a
Tamrac Expedition 7. My guess is it fits in the other Tamrac backpacks as
well. And I would be much surprised if it wouldn't fit in the Lowepro's
either.
Though I haven't yet acquired one myself, I'm also sure it fits in a Thinktank
Airport Accelerator.
