I was at Staples this afternoon. They had the Epson 1400 that had the
cd/dvd option and it prints large format as well. Unfortunately, they
didnt have the 1800 for me to look at and compare.

The salesman, however, had very good things to say about Canons. I
moved from the Canon Rebel to the Nikon D200, but if it's a great
printer, I could be persuaded to look in their direction.

Thanks again for the comments. I'm still looking and researching.

I just bought an HPB9180 for $589 from ITSupplies.com. Won't do CDs but
does beautiful printing up to 13x19.
