Sorry for taking so long to reply here, I’ve been traveling.  So, to answer your questions Kelly, I can view the images on my camera, I cannot see them on my computer – and yes, I’d love to be able to find them because I cannot re-create them.

 

Several people mentioned trying a card reader, however, I don’t have one at this moment – any other thoughts?

Margaret, I don't know where you live but I think that if these images are that important to you, it is time to spend the $20 and get a card reader... then you can see what is really on the card and if it does not show them on the card ( I am certain that it will) then you could use the recovery software and find them. ; Just remember that if they can be seen on the camera that you at least have a small jpeg of them... if you shot them in Jpeg you will have the full image, but if in raw, you are only looking at the small jpeg.
buy a reader and you should be alright, but let us know for sure. ; BTW at Walmart you mihgt find a cheap reader for under $10.

Satisfied with mine, quick and cheeep. SamsClub, I believe us$6.95
Stratitec, no model #, but reads ~9 different cards.
