This is an image of the Moon through the smoke of the Harris Fire. The

fire is now headed away from our area and we are now able to relax and

if needed offer assistance to others not so fortunate, (Huge sigh of

relief!). Also, the area where I work in the Rancho Bernardo by the

Witch fire, has been opened back up, so I can go back to my job

tomorrow.

That is some great news Bob, and I hope that the fires 
will be out soon so that no one has to be concerned any longer.  it is good 
that you can go back to work as well. ; the moon has some great detail near 
the south pole, but I did notice that your camera's date is off by a day!  
LOL not that you have to worry about it! but I just checked to see which day you 
took it... tonight or last night... and saw that it was shot the 24th... that is 
tomorrow! LOL
