ral(4) problem

I have a linksys WMP54G v4.1 card (RT2561S/RT2661b/
rt2527) (PCI).  I can "connect" to networks,
that is I can choose
available networks or it autodetects one.  However, I cannot
pass any
data, it seems (dhclient fails, cannot ping other side,
etc.)  I am
stymied by this and cannot figure out what to do.  a USB ral
adapter
works fine.

Any ideas?
I am using 4.0_BETA from 9/10.  Please address all
