Hi Salam,
The best documentation you'll find is on the Velocity web site (the
project from which NVelocity was derived). A good reference for the
template language can be found here:
http://jakarta.apache.org/velocity/docs/vtl-reference-guide.html
NVelocity is not a "web oriented tool", I'm not sure how you got that
impression, maybe because of the references to Maverick on the site.
It is a template based generator to generate anything you want whether
it be SQL scripts, code, or a letter to your girlfriend.
If we're lucky, Cort will give us an update one of these days.

I discovered nVelocity today and very interested to dive in it. Is
there any doc that describes how to setup and start using nVelocity
tools and where templates can be found to be customized?
I understood that it is a web oriented tool, template based to genertae
web sites over the net, am I correct?
I unzipped the zip file, a lot of directories and don't where to start.
I would highly appreciate some guidance on implementing the solution
Thanks in advance

Hi-
If you haven't seen the posts on it in the archives already, you should
use the version from castleproject:
http://svn.castleproject.org/svn/castle/trunk/Sandbox/NVelocity/
The version on sourceforge has some problems.

Instead of forking, why not just integrate these changes into the sourceforge version?

Sure. Do you have access to nvelocity CVS repository?
