Yes I am installing as administrator, and using IIS to
Intall.

It sounds like it is not reconfiguring IIS, which is what it
would fail
to do if it were to be installed with the internal web
server option
for example. I have installed cfmx many many times, but
never with IIS.
It always goes pretty smooth.

Are you installing as administrator? sorry not much of a
windows guy.
