We have a stable, diverse workforce with an average employee tenure of over 10 years. Because of internal growth, we seeking a PHP systems developer. We prefer a full-time employee, but are open to independent contractors who are willing and able to work on-site and are looking to build a long-term relationship. This position requires: Solid PHP and database systems development experience Knowledge of web-development skills including HTML, Javascript, and CSS The ability to work with a team of professionals with diverse perspectives The ability to work on several projects simultaneously Willingness to conform to Strategic's application development standards A positive attitude and superior work ethic The following attributes are plusses: Degree in Computer Science or Information technology Configuration experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) or a Microsoft server Experience with PHP-based content management systems (Joomla, Mambo, etc.) Experience with web application development frameworks (Zend Framework, etc.) Experience with visual programming and templating systems Exposure to the IBM System i (iSeries / AS/400) server Bilingual English / Spanish The desire to be a lifetime learner Your compensation will depend on your experience.
