Is there a plugin "out there"; that can read a Window';s registry to report on the installed printers on PCs?
The name of each installed printer can be found from a registry folder in the path:
"HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionPrintprovidersLanMan Print ServicesServer*PrintersFOLDERNAME"
and every other registry folder at this level
The * is the name of a print server which can be ognires as there is more than one print server
I am trying to write a script with various degrees of complete abject and utter failure :-/
