Hello,

I upgraded my Soekris 4801 to NetBSD 3.1. Using the GENERIC
kernel, it
still keeps awful time. I reset the time at 1:00 PM today,
and already
(at 2:00) it thinks it's 3:47 PM.

I had been told by a reliable source this is fixed?

With the 2.0 kernel, Manuel Bouyer had kindly advised:

> The soekris's timer is running at a different clock
than usual. Make
> sure you have
> # AMD Elan SC520's timer runs at a different frequency
> options TIMER_FREQ=1189200

but I don't see such an option in 3.1.

Here's part of the dmesg:

$ sed -ne '1,/WARN/p' /var/run/dmesg.boot

(I suspect the superfast timer is causing pfspamd to
disconnect sessions
too quickly, preventing even legitimate servers from
delivering mail.)

Many thanks for your guidance.
