Hi,

short question:

Is anybody working on Networksupport for intel 82571EB
Gigabit Ethernet Chips?
I found out, OpenBSD and FreeBSD are already supporting this
chip. Is this planned
for 4.0_RELEASE?

It is already supported in -current and it should be in the
next NetBSD
release (3.1 and of course 4.0).

This chip model is compatible with others of 82571, so, for
now, you
can simply adapt a patch from -current.

If it's in -current, it will not automatically be in 3.1,
unless someone has backported it.
It will be in 4.0 though.

Thanx,

also found it in man.netbsd.org for NetBSD-current.

Where can I find a roadmap / Releaseplan for the
4.0_Release?
