Heyas folks --

I dusted off my old Ultra5 and went to fire up -current. No
luck -- the
latest INSTALL kernels hang after you select a keyboard
type. So I
installed the latest 4.0 snapshot, built a -current GENERIC
kernel, and
booted -- same hang, where I would normally expect to see
the 'Setting tty
flags.' message.

Btw, I'm using a keyboard/mouse and machfb console.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Jared

Yeah, an old bug uncovered by the newlock2 changes - if you
add DEBUG
to your kernel, it will probably work.

I'll commit a fix within the next few hours.

Cool, thanks. mgr suggested I add LOCKDEBUG and everything
seems to be
fine for now.

Cheers,
Jared
