smart card options on NetBSD?

Yes, the PCSC Lite framework is definitely the right choice
(I have 
been planning for a long time to import it into pkgsrc.  A
package
for it does currently exist in pkgsrc-wip, although that
version
has problems with USB smart card reader on NetBSD...)
