Hi all,
this is just a short notice that I'd like to organize a
"Documentation
Hackathon" for the very next (easter) weekend. Main
goal will be
converting as many old .list and pure .html files to
DocBook/XML as
possible. Secondary goal will be the update of content. Stay
tuned,
details and announcements will follow.

Regards,
Daniel

I agree that it would be nice to have a Documentation
Hackathon, but
it would be better if it would not be announced on *such*
short notice.
If we move this to, say, the weekend of 28 and 29 April, we
can
announce it decently, and have some WWW members present to
check all
changes and conversions.

I guess that the ball is already rolling, so who am I to
stop
it ;). Anyway, I will try to be around some of the time
too.

You're right, it's rolling. I'd be
very glad if you could pay a
visit once in while.

You're surely right that such a short notice is sub-optimal.
But,
since this weekend will be my last free weekend for a longer
time,
this was the only alternative (for me).

We'll see what we can get done despite the short notice.

Daniel

I agree that this is a bit on short notice, but let's do it
anyways:
Daniel's motivated, I as www member have time - what more do
we need for a
start?

Of course you can clean up the rest in a few weeks then in
another
session.
