I was thinking about the sense also, but the public (press
etc.) would probaly realise that there are quite a 
few NetBSD installations.
Another thing would possibly the release of download
statistics on NetBSD.org.
We are on fairs, but here is a big marketing weakness.

to tell somebody who I am.

Maybe somebody else comes up with a really good idea?

I am of the strong opinion that it is more harmful to report
 
incorrect data than to report no data.  Since bsdstats can
not be  
correct or even accurately representative, its data can only
do harm,  
not good.

I'm not proud to say this, but a few month ago, i have
really increased 
the count of NetBSD... I'm not proud, really.
Just to say, bsdstat is not reliable, don't trust it...

In less than one hours, everybody can send different CPU
arch, different 
version, etc...
If me, with my technical limit can do this, everybody can
cheat...!
