Hi,
I have mangaged to support SCTP on Enterprise Linux using
the kernel lksctp
module. Now I would like to support SCTP on netBSD OS. Have
been reading about
KAME and in one of netBSD references it is mentioned that
the KAME project is
closed. When I downloaded the tar file, I could find only
those specific to
freeBSD OS. Can someone please let me know if KAME is the
right way to go
ahead with netBSD . Are there any major issues in KAMe stack
as of now and how
widely is it deployed. Are there any other free SCTP
softwares available for
SCTP support on netBSD.

Any help is highly appreciated.

From what I recall, the SCTP code is separate from KAME,
but has a dependency
upon it or at least some type of IPv6 stack. You might want
to ping Randall
Stewart <rrscisco.com> about this, as he was the
primary author of the SCTP
implementation which went into FreeBSD, and could probably
give you insight on
what would need to be done for NetBSD....

The ex-KAME code is also in the dragonfly-bsd repository.
