hpcboot1.exe can't save settings

I installed netbsd in a Compaq C2010. Everything works
right, including X.
But when I boot, and I start hpcboot1.exe I receive the
message that is 
not possible to write the setting in the ini file... So
everytime I boot 
  I need to select the device.

Could anybody send me an example of the ini file in order to
try editing 
it "by hand"?
