Do you know if mac68k is supposed to switch to gcc4 in time
for the NetBSD
4 release? I.e., will the changes that Izumi-san committed
to -current be
pulled up to netbsd-4?

I don't know, but IMO it's too late to switch mac68k
netbsd-4 to use
gcc4 by default. However, I do think the fix to allow mac68k
to be
compiled with gcc4 should be pulled up to netbsd-4, so the
option is
available to those who want to try it.
