Hi,
Just my impression:
4.99.3 runs nicely on my Quadra800. Honestly, I don't use it
so much.
Using Gimp sometimes, and mainly it does cvs update and
making kernels.
4.99.3 is OK for such faster 040 which has plenty of Ram.

Please teach me, to use GCC4, "HAVE_GCC=4" in
/etc/mk.conf ?
Do I need it in 4.99.3 ? Without it means GCC3 ?
If YES, I have a data about speed.
Quadra800: (139MB/44Mhz): 4.99.3: source -current
build.sh tools
GCC3? 12 hours 56 min.
GCC4 12 hours 42 min.
build.sh kernel (My conf, not GENERIC)
GCC3? 6 hours 25 min.
GCC4 6 hours 41 min.
There is no difference.
So, I guess GCC4 runs by default in 4.99.3, wrong ?
LC630: (Full040/53MB/40MHz/IDE): 3.1.0_P: source
-rnetbsd-3-1
build.sh tools
GCC3 10 hours 31 min.
I was wondering, "Why LC630 is faster than Quadra800
??"
I think I get the answer.. NO ?
