Released 3.1 binaries won't be replaced, but it has been
pulled
up to netbsd-3 and netbsd-4 branches so future daily builds
(in ftp://ftp.NetBSD.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-3/) and
forthcomming 3.2 (and 4.0) will have the fix.

I hadn't heard a thing about a 3.2. I'd assumed there
wouldn't be one
with 4.0 "so close" now.

Hmm... I find that the daily builds for for 6/1/07 in NetBSD
3.0 and 3.1
give me the same error messages:

exec /sbin/init:error 8
init: trying /sbin/oinit
exec /sbin/oinit:error 2
init: trying /sbin/init.bak
exec /sbin/init.bak: error 2
panic: no init

What's up with that?

Tom
