The SE/30 PDS is yet another beast, sorry... look for a card
for either Mac
SE/30 or Mac IIsi.

To give a list in roughly chronological sequence, there's

1) the SE slot (68000, 96 pin VG)
2) Nubus (obviously),
3) the SE/30 slot (68030, 120 pin VG, also in Mac IIsi and
Mac IIfx)
4) the IIci cache slot (120 pin VG, but layout different
from 3)
5) the Mac LC slot (16 Bit, 68020, 96 pin VG)
6) the Mac LC III slot (32 bit, 68030, ?? pin VG, backward
compatible with 5)
7) the Quadra PDS slot (68040, special connector)
8) the {Quadra,Performa} 610 slot for a Nubus riser card
9) the {Quadra, Performa, LC} 630 Communication Slot I
(modems, ethernet
cards) -- any instances of the CS II slot, or is that
PowerMac-only?

Anything missing from the list?

Accelerators, mostly, cache cards; the AWS95's SCSI card
sits in the PDS.
I've never heard of a graphics card for the '040 PDS. Since
the difference
between mainbus and Nubus bandwidth is highest on '040
machines, that's
quite surprising; but apparently, at the time onboard video
was found to be
powerful enough?

The Quadra 840 AV does not have a '040 PDS, btw.

I had one - a Miro Rainbow GX ( which Miro denies any
knowledge of ) -
had plenty of memory, in 24bit it was faster than the Q700's
onboard
video in 8bit, definitely had some sort of blitter and also
a DSP ( for
photoshop I guess ).

have fun
