Booter update?

Hello,

I can't seem to find any mention on the mailing list of
this, so I figured 
I'd ask. Has the Booter ever been updated to boot a kernel
off of a UFS2 
partition? My current Booter (2.0.1a1) complains:

Magic numbers do not match -- Improper UFS partition

I guess I could just keep a tiny FFS partition just for the
kernel or use 
HFStools, but if anyone's updated the Booter, it'd be good
to put it out 
there.
