Hi,
i have bought a Stealth Serial port for my
PowerMac G4 since i need to make debug on serial.
There is a driver or anithing else that allow me
to "see" the serial from Open Firmware?
Thank you

I just pull the video card. Then serial port will become

Connect the port to another machine running terminal
emulation
software at 57,600 baud, 8 bit data, no parity, 1 stop bit,
and no
handshaking. Now on the G4, boot into Open Firmware and type
exactly
the following:
" scca" io
and press return. In a few seconds the display should go
black and
your terminal program will give you the usual Open Firmware
prompt.

If you want the settings to survive reboots do the following
(these
can always be reverted):
setenv output-device scca
setenv input-device scca
reset-all
Thanks
