It sure does!

I thought that was for "screen doesn't sync" not
for "screen comes
up blank white". I had ass-umed that the problem was
that OF init'ed
the screen, but after the kernel had already parsed the PCI
bus, not
that OF wasn't bothering to init the screen at all absent
being
asked explicitly to display, and figuring the OS would
figure it
out. Oh well.
