Hi,
I found a newer example on the netbsd site with next-server.
The only
changes that I made to it are to the mac address, the
location of the root
filesystem and added the IP address to the next-server. It
still doesn't
boot. I watched the messages log and there is a dhcp
request, it then
transfers and loads ofwboot.xcf. Then I see several more
dhcp requests,
but it still fails, never finding the root file system.
I think that I can safely say that the nfs server is
configured correctly,
because I found an old NetBSD macppc 2.0.2 install cd and I
was able to
boot off it, run a shell and then mount the nfs partition
successfully.
It looks like only part of the dhcp information is received.
So, I am at a
loss.
Thanks,
Al
