Hi,
I tried to boot -current and -4 branch kernel on my
PowerBook G4 12" and failed so far. Anyone to have
similar
problem?
When I call them, It shows the line "console keyboard
type:
unknown, assuming ADB" to OFW console and then hangs.
3.1 kernel works. 2.0 did also.

Hmm, is the last output you get in black ( coming via
firmware ) or
some other color, usually green ( coming from the kernel's
console
driver ) ?
I'm trying to find out where exactly your machine hangs, one
obvious
candidate would be the console setup. If you see non-black
text we're
past that.
have fun
