I have made the makefile changes to make X build for prep
and ibmnws.

Getting it to work might be another task for the hackathon.

It needs wscons, support for mapping PCI BARs via /dev/ttyE0
and might
need a way to access PCI IO - on macppc it just maps a
certain range
via /dev/ttyE0 which the underlying wsdisplay drivers
redirect to
wherever the corresponding host bridge keeps PCI IO
addresses. At least
if you use ppc_video.c in X. Some drivers ( like those for
mach64 and
radeon devices ) don't need IO access, no idea about S3
though.

have fun
