Building NetBSD 4.0 fails on missing user 'smmsp'

Hi there,

I was building NetBSD 4.0 BETA from a Netbsd-current box
(from
somewhere just after 3.0 release). commandline:
./build.sh -U distribution.

It gave the following error:
nbmtree: unknown user `smmsp'
nbmtree: failed at line 2248 of the specification

Of course, adding the user manually would fix the problem,
but I
think this is supposed to work automatically? There's also
no
mention of this in the BUILDING file.

Remnants of an old build were screwing up the new one.
Destdir isn't cleaned up in any way when doing a new build?
