trouble installing 4.0.2

I'm having trouble installing 4.0.2. I've previously had version 3 on
my computer (recently removed it) and when I download and install
4.0.2, I get an error message that says it can't run the Java run-time
environment.

Hi Benjamin -

This is a Windows bug the workaround is here:

http://ccl.northwestern.edu/netlogo/docs/faq.html#windowsmemory

It says to lower the maximum heap size to something like 500000000, though
a larger number might work (depending on your computer), you can try
experimenting with different numbers to see what your limit actually is.
