Please read the charter. The charter and problem statement
say unmodified 
*for localized mobility management*, not anything. After
all, if a mobile 
host doesn't have a driver, it won't be able to even
contact the wireless 
link. Mobile hosts need some way of doing IP level movement
detection. If 
they don't have IP level movement detection, they won't
know they've moved 
and they will lose IP connectivity. These aren't mythical
functions. 
Standard ND doesn't work very well for detecting movement,
because it wasn't 
designed for that. DNA works well for movement detection (or
should) because 
it was designed for it. DHCP also has movement detection
features (CONFIRM I 
believe).
