problem with userdir in fedora

Hi all

For work reasons I'm trying fedora and everithing is nice
except when
using the UserDir definition in my conf file, I have it this
way:

UserDir public_html {
    Directory / {
       Handler common
    }
}

but for a reason that I don't know, when I do a request for
http://localhost/~user/
it shows me a 404 error, I've disabled SELinux
and it still doesn't works, I have done it in the same way
in gentoo
and I don't have this problem.

did I do something wrog? , or how can I avoid this?, I've
already
search in the web and I can't find an answer, What I've
missed?
